Martin Fire Department has its primary responsibility to the citizens of Martin. Martin is 20 square miles with a population of approximately 10,000.

Martin Fire Department also offers such special services such as EMS Services. In 2002, there were approximately 741 emergency incidents dispatched.

Martin Fire Department operates 2 engine companies, 1 ladder company, and one brush truck. The brush truck is also used for EMS response.

Martin Fire Department operates with 3 shifts with 20 total full time personnel with 10 reserve fire fighters.
